Cruise the historic, sheltered waters Bay of Islands on a unique journey into the birth place of the youngest country on earth.

Launching October 2009, this purpose built 46m(150ft) small ship provides the perfect venue for small meetings, conferences and incentive groups, featuring 30 identical king sized state rooms, all with ensuites and sea views.

Designed as a self contained conference facility with the restaurant and bar area capable of accommodating up to 70 people, the vessel can also link in to unique cultural activities within the Bay, guided island walks and helicopter flightseeing.

The vessel is also available to sail to different parts of New Zealand offering marine based conference accommodation, catering and presentation spaces.

Luxury Cruising

Vessel: Tiger V , Tangaroa III
Board our luxury catamaran and let us take you cruising the 'Bay of Islands'. Tiger V is a state of the art, quiet, stable and comfortable cruising vessel. There are many options for groups chartering this vessel. Enjoy meandering amongst the islands with a sunset cocktail cruise or for a dinner with a difference why not take advantage of our exclusive mooring rights at Otehei Bay and enjoy a sumptuous island experience. Tiger V is a luxury 23 metre catamaran and is designed for comfortable cruising at a speed of 25 knots. This vessel is surveyed to carry a capacity of 210 passengers, complete with a fully licensed bar, air-conditioning and high standard toilet facilities. Tiger V also features a full PA system and 6 screens upon which DVD's are able to be played. Tangaroa offers an intimate cruising experience, carrying up to 120 passengers. The vessel is a 19 metre catamaran with a cruising speed of 31 knots. It boasts a fully licensed bar, air-conditioning and toilet facilities.

Adventure Cruising

Vessel: Excitor Ultimate Fast Boat Experience
There's nothing like a blast around the Bay to wake up your delegates and freshen the mind. Take a quick 2 hours out of your conference schedule and blow out the cobwebs!! The Excitor Fast Boat Experience (our 40 knot powerboat racer built for 54 passengers) provides thrills all the way as you accelerate out into the open water. We will dress your delegates in protective clothing, sunglasses and provide waterproof camera bags. We then run through a safety briefing (which we have the flexibility to conduct safety briefings on the Paihia, Russell or Waitangi wharves).

With our twin 800 horsepower engines we have the ability to get you out to the 'Hole in the Rock' and return in just an hour and a half. Your skipper will keep you entertained with informative and amusing commentary along the way. We also have a full P.A. and MP3 system to add to the atmosphere.

Luxury Coaches

Cape Reinga & 90 Mile Beach
Great Sights coaches offer superior comfort and design. The coaches feature air-conditioning, have touring seats, excellent clear PA systems and large viewing windows. Our coaches are 'Waverider coaches' purpose designed and built to cope with the rugged journey and the sand and surf on 90 mile beach. We offer you the option of chartering your own private coach to take you on a journey to Cape Reinga, experiencing 90 Mile Beach, Puketi Kauri Forest and the option of sandboarding along the way. Our exclusive lunch stop at the world famous Houhora Game Fishing Club can offer your group a delicious Kiwi BBQ or seasonal lunch.

Kerikeri - Discover Kerikeri and Eco Experience Kerikeri

Great Sights Bay of Islands are able to offer countless charter options, giving you the opportunity to offer something unique and perhaps an element of surprise to your conference or event. A popular option is to send your delegates on a cruise through the striking Kerikeri Inlet where they will be met by our coach at the Kerikeri basin. From here a mystery tour will begin, including the delectable Makana chocolate factory, a pamper session, informative tour or possibly even a shopping spree at Living Nature. From here we would normally continue on to a couple of the local vineyards where your delegates can relax in serene surroundings and sample a few of the local vintages. This option is extremely popular as an event for the delegates partners, hens nights or girls days out.

Bay Belle - Ferry Transfers
For a unique dining experience, enjoy a brief cruise across the harbour to historic Russell, take pleasure in waterfront dining or bask in the charm of New Zealand's very first licensed pub while having a drink or a meal. A scheduled ferry operates from 7:20am until 10:30pm October to May. (Last departure 7:30pm during 1st June to 30th September) The Bay Belle is also available for late charter.
