Passenger and Vehicle Ferry Timetable

Fast Ferry Paihia / Russell

Departs on demand every 20 minutes from 8.30am until late.
Last ferry 1 September to 30 October 7.30pm, 1 June to 31 August 5.30pm.
Tickets are purchased on board. Waitangi drop-off subject to conditions.

Bay Belle Passenger Ferry

Fullers InterCity Ferries operate regular passenger services throughout the day from the Paihia wharf to the opposite township of Russell. Tickets can be pre-purchased from the Fullers GreatSights booking office or onboard. 

Crossings take approximately 15minutes.
Return fares $12 adults, $6 children (under 15 years)

(Okiato is approximately 10 minutes drive from Russell and Opua is approximately 7 minutes from Paihia)

The ferry operates as a shuttle service with crossings every 10 minutes (approx) between the hours listed below:

The ferry is suitable for all vehicles including trucks, buses, and campervans. Tickets are purchased on board.
