Terms and Conditions

  1. All bookings not made locally should be reconfirmed with our office either the day before departure or 24 hours prior to departure.
  2. Fullers GreatSights Bay of Islands reserves the right to cancel departures, arrange alternative transport, itineraries and services when necessary. Departures and itineraries are subject to sea and weather conditions. To the extent permitted by law, all our liability for damage to your property, disruption to travel plans, or mental injury is excluded. This exclusion is subject to any rights or remedies you may have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.
  3. Where another company or persons operate the tour or cruise Fullers GreatSights Bay of Islands is acting only as Sales Agent. Responsibility and liability for the operation of the land and sea transport lies with that operator.
  4. For the comfort of all passengers and in accordance with New Zealand government legislation smoking is not permitted on our vessels or tour coaches. Regular stops are made on tours for the comfort of all passengers.
  5. Entry fees and meals are not included except where stated.
  6. All prices stated are in New Zealand Dollars and include the Goods and Services Tax. Prices are subject to change with out notice.
  7. Children’s fares - Under 15 years. Infants under 5 years no charge when not occupying a seat except for Dolphin Eco Experience which all children under 15 years are charged the children’s rate, however please advise sales staff when an infant is travelling.
  8. Dolphin Viewing Guarantee - applies to the: a) Dolphin Cruise to • the ‘Hole in the Rock’ - passengers who did not view dolphins or whales will receive a ‘go again for free’ voucher on the Dolphin Cruise to the ‘Hole in the Rock’ (lifetime validity, subject to availability). • b) Dolphin Eco Experience. - Passengers who did not view dolphins or whales will receive a ‘go again for free’ voucher on Dolphin Eco Experience (lifetime validity, subject to availability).
  9. Cream Trip Swim with Dolphins - If you do wish to swim with dolphins on the Cream Trip please pay an additional $30pp. Dolphin Swimming Guarantee - applies to the Cream Trip. If conditions prevent us from swimming with dolphins, a swim refund of $30 will be offered to those passengers who have prepaid to swim.
  10. Cruise through the Hole in the Rock conditions permitting. Applies to the Dolphin Cruise to the Hole in the Rock and The Cream Trip
  11. Cancellations must be received by Fullers GreatSights Bay of Islands no later than 6pm on the day prior to the cruise or tour departure. Passengers who have not cancelled will be considered “no shows” and no refunds are available.
  12. A Twin Tour discount of 10% applies to the full retail price if you purchase any two or more of the following products: Hole in the Rock Dolphin Cruise, The Cream Trip, Dolphin Eco Experience, Cape Reinga, Discover Hokianga, Discover Kerikeri, and Ipipiri Overnight Cruise. Note: R Tucker Thompson and Russell Mini Tour are not included in the Twin Tour Special. The Twin Tour Special can not be used in conjunction with any other offer, discount or promotion.
  13. Fuel - due to the uncertainty of fuel prices Fullers GreatSights Bay of Islands reserve the right to add a fuel surcharge to any of their tours or cruise.
  14. Content and Price Validity: These terms and conditions are valid from 1 October 2011 – 30 September 2012 and supersede any other issues.
  15. Payments - 'Fullers BOI Online' is the name that will appear on your credit card statement.

 

    Overnight Cruise Terms and Conditions

    Reservations/Confirmations/Payment/Cancellation Procedure

    1. FIT Bookings:
    Reservations with pax names received and confirmed by ICG . Clients to reconfirm 48 hours prior to departure.

    Cancellation fees:
    (i) Outside 30 days - No charge
    (ii) 29 -10 days - 50% refund (or 50% cancellation fee charged)
    (iii) Inside 10 days - Nil refund (or 100%cancellation fee charged)

    2. Cabin Allocation:
    All cabins are identical on both decks. Cabins will be allocated on a run of vessel basis at the discretion of the cruise director.

    3. Cabin/Sole Occupancy:
    In the event that sole occupancy of a cabin is required the single person rate will apply.

    4. Children:
    One child (5-14 years inclusive) sharing with one adult will be charged on an adult/child twin share basis. One adult sharing with one child (5-14 years inclusive) will be charged at the Adult single rate.

    5. Infants:
    (1-4 years inclusive) may travel in twin share cabins only and are charged at the child rate. Babies (0-12 months of age) travel FOC and may travel in twin share cabins only. Note: Infants/babies not encouraged.

    6. Baggage:
    Only an overnight bag should be brought on board for passenger convenience and safety reasons. Limited lock up storage facilities are available.

    7. Great Sights Overnight Cruise Ship reserves the right to cancel departures, arrange alternative transport, itineraries and services when necessary. Departures and itineraries are subject to sea and weather conditions. To the extent permitted by law, all our liability for damage to your property, disruption to travel plans, injury is excluded. This exclusion is subject to any rights or remedies you may have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993

    8. All prices include 15% GST and are subject to InterCity Group (NZ) Ltd trading conditions. Rates are subject to change.

    Cancellations:

    Cancellations must be received by us no later than 5 (five) working days prior to the cruise or tour departure.

    Deposit:

    A deposit of 15% is required to hold the booking 5 (five) days prior to departure.

    Billing

    Companies who hold a credit account with us will be invoiced after the client has travelled for the agreed nett rate. Invoices are issued on a monthly basis and statements are issued monthly. Full payment is due on the 20th of the month following the date of invoice.

    Payments

    For credit account holders, payments are due by the 20th of the month following the date on the invoice. Late payments may incur a penalty charge. Payments can be made by cheque in New Zealand dollars and sent to:

    Conditions of Carriage:

    InterCity Group (NZ) Ltd, trading as Fullers GreaSights Bay of Islands, is not responsible for any injury to passengers or damage to property for any cause whatsoever. Entry fees are not included unless otherwise stated. All departures are subject to demand, sea and weather conditions.

    Fullers GreatSights Bay of Islands reserve the right to cancel any departure and vary itineraries in the interest of passenger safety and comfort.

    Pricing:

    All fares quoted in our sales brochures are retail, NZ$ and include GST. All prices are typically valid for a minimum of 12 months however they are subject to change without notice. Our validity period is 01 Oct - 30 Sept.

    Smoking Policy

    For the comfort of all passengers and in accordance with New Zealand government legislation, smoking is not permitted on our vessels or tour coaches.

    Disabled Passengers

    We have wheelchair access onto Tiger V, and Tangaroa lll. Please advise us at the time of booking if you have clients with special requirements so that we can appropriately assist them.

    Commentary

    A detailed commentary is provided by the skipper/driver on all cruises and tours. This commentary is in English. Printed guide sheets are available on board vessels and coaches in German, Japanese and Mandarin.
